This will make sure that we are maintaining them in the best health possible and avoiding future problems. Follow simple guidelines to maintain healthy feet and look out for signs of any problems.Often the feet are the first places that tell us that something is not quite right with our overal health. What to look out for:

  • Persistent foot pain that lasts more than 3 days
  • Swelling or redness in the feet. Itchy feet. Feet that get very cold or hot.
  • Any sign of infection
  • Wounds that are not healing
  • Loss of feeling in your feet
  • Frequent tripping, falling over
  • Foot deformity – bunions, hammertoes, arches of the feet dropping
